We are looking for an experienced Catering Cook.
- Flawless food handling and preparation at the highest standard and preparing food per the exact recipe specifications from our scratch kitchen.
- Create a welcoming environment for our guests by ensuring the dining room is clean, free from trash and debris, and the tables are properly set.
- Ensure plate ware, glassware, tableware, and cooking utensils are clean and sanitized while maintaining the dish machine, dish room, prep area, and equipment.
- Accountable for all aspects of assigned cooking stations to include set up, prep, stock product, cook and present dishes according to Lazy Dog’s recipes, and cleanup.
- Prep and prepare for breakfast and lunch service in an on-site kitchen to include a gas grill and electric oven.
- Ensure only fresh, high-quality ingredients are used when preparing all recipes.
- Ensure proper recipe adherence with the use of recipe viewer during food preparation.
- Strive to never serve a dish that has not been given a “last look over” test.
- Accurately prepare verbal food orders and clearly communicate with guests in Action Stations.
- Maintain all self-service, hot and cold buffet stations; ensure that they are fully stocked, fresh, and properly rotated. Monitor to ensure that proper temperatures are maintained.
