What are the responsibilities and job description for the Body Shop Coordinator position at Lazydays RV?
- Review ROs to verify that all parts, labor rates, jobs line coding, and tech stories are accurate for processing
- Handle paperwork in accordance with warranty/retail procedures.
- Create Body, Cabinet, and Glass shop R.O.s as needed
- Add jobs to open repair orders as needed by advisors, techs, and delivery/service managers.
- Maintain communications with Shop Manager, advisors, and customers, to keep them informed on status of repairs.
- Return all phone and email messages in a timely manner.
- Responsible for the in –process RO’s for Body and Glass shops (Includes retail, warranty and insurance work)
- Responsible for contacting necessary departments when needed in order to close R.O. (parts, techs, warranty etc)
- Responsible for completing the paperwork to completed status as they are completed.
- Assure advisor and/or cashier receives information on completed R.O.
- Coordinate with advisors and cashiers on all necessary documents that are to be signed and payment arrangements that are to be made, at or before pickup.
- Contacts insurance companies for supplements and final invoicing
- Ensure all documentation is provided when required – either by manufactures or company process
- Review, book and pre-invoice stock unit tickets, delivery repair orders, and Specialty Shop repair orders when necessary
- Assist manager with day to day activities to maintain a continuous flow of work through the shops
- Assists/fills in for other specialty shop RO personnel when needed
- Attend all company required meetings and training.
- Additional responsibilities as requested or required.
