Finance Analyst

The Staff Finance Analyst plays a critical role in providing financial analysis, forecasting, and strategic support to drive business decisions. This position involves analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and assisting with budget and financial planning to support the organization’s financial health and growth.

Financial Analysis:

• Conduct detailed financial analysis to support business decision-making and strategic planning.

• Analyze financial statements, variances, and trends to provide insights and recommendations.
• Develop and maintain financial models to forecast future financial performance.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
• Monitor and analyze budget performance, providing variance analysis and insights.
• Support departments with budget planning and expenditure tracking.

Reporting:

• Prepare regular financial reports, including management reports, performance metrics, and ad-hoc analyses.
• Ensure reports are accurate, timely, and provide actionable insights for stakeholders.

Financial Planning:

• Collaborate with various departments to gather data and support financial planning processes.
• Assist in the development of long-term financial plans and strategies.

Data Management:

• Collect, organize, and analyze financial data from various sources.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.

Process Improvement:

• Identify opportunities for improving financial processes and systems.

• Recommend and implement changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Compliance and Controls:

• Ensure financial practices comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Support internal controls and audit processes as needed.

Project Support:

• Assist with financial analysis and reporting for special projects and initiatives.
• Provide financial insights and support to project teams as required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in financial analysis or a similar role.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting techniques.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software (e.g., ERP systems, financial reporting tools).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
