The Opportunity
LBMC Technology Solutions is looking for an Account Executive for our Charlotte office who will be responsible for selling managed IT Solutions and financial software solutions such as Sage Intacct and Microsoft Dynamics 365 to organizations, utilizing a consultative selling approach. Extensive and proven business-to-business sales experience calling on organizations in the Charlotte area is required. Candidates will be responsible for generating leads through prospecting, referrals, and attending networking/professional association events.
The ideal candidate will be curious, detail oriented, technically competent (although product knowledge is not required), with the ability to develop a deep understanding of prospective customer’s businesses to assist them in using technology to increase operational efficiencies.
Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities of the Account Executive will be to drive new revenue for LBMC by working with prospective clients to ensure that we align with their business goals and objectives. To accomplish this goal, the Account Executive will:
- Actively and aggressively seek out new relationships and opportunities to ensure an ongoing, highly productive sales pipeline.
- Establish trusted relationships with clients and prospects by being detail oriented and effective listeners to ensure that a good understanding of your client’s goals and objectives are understood.
- Control the sales cycle by ensuring mutual commitments in deliverables and schedules.
- Have ongoing interest in learning and maintaining a current understanding of solution offerings to ensure appropriate recommendations are made.
- Serve as customer advocate internally while effectively collaborating with internal, cross-functional teams including project management, sales, marketing, and consulting.
Requirements
Experience selling managed IT solutions and/or financial accounting software is highly preferred; however not required.
- 3 to 5 years business-to-business technical sales experience in consultative-selling
- Possess selling skills including prospecting, qualifying, presenting solutions, and closing (the AE is not responsible for software demos)
- Outstanding oral communication skills, excellent telephone skills, with the ability to lead winning presentations, negotiation and closing skills
- Experience in networking socially in person at local events as well as the ability to maximize engagement in social media such as LinkedIn, Twitter, or other channels
- Must be willing to travel within a designated territory
- Successful sales track record
- 4-year college degree
LBMC Technology Solutions, LLC offers a base salary coupled with an excellent commission structure which provides financial rewards based on your efforts and production, 3 weeks PTO the first year, medical and dental insurance, 401k matching, and discount purchasing programs. Overnight travel is limited.
