LBS, Inc. is seeking a high energy, self-starting person to join its team as a Retail Inventory Auditor. We are looking for someone with direct inventory counting experience in a retail environment and/or significant 10-key skills.
The Retail Inventory Auditor is passionate about counting and travels daily to convenience stores to count store merchandise. The position is responsible for providing clients with reporting of their inventory balances. LBS values our employees and customers. Check us out at http://www.lbsinc.us
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Travel daily to customer locations to perform inventory audits.Work as a business partner with the customer’s staff at field locations.
- Work as a business partner with the customer’s staff at field locations.
- Count all merchandise by manually entering data into a 10-key device.
- Reconcile and report location inventory balances.
- As needed, perform fuel reconciliation, bank deposit verifications and other financial procedures.
- Write recaps and transmit files to headquarters daily.
Position Requirements:
- Ability to be a Road Warrior! Flexibility to travel daily, Monday through Friday, including overnight travel as necessary. (This varies by the client the employee is working with and the location).
- A passion for counting with a high level of organizational skills that includes attention to detail, accuracy, and efficiency.
- Results-driven, self-starters who can work independently.
- Excellent communication, time management skills, and quality customer service.
- Basic Microsoft Excel or similar experience is required.
Education Requirements:
· High school degree or equivalent.
Other Requirements:
- Candidates and employees must have a clean driving record.
- Ability to bend, squat, and/or kneel frequently to count all merchandise.
- Ability to stand and work for extended periods of time.
- Ability to occasionally lift and move up to 40lbs. in inventory.
Work Hours:
- Position is a Full-time role, Monday through Friday, and may include long hours if necessary.
- There may be times overtime is required depending on the audit.
- Auditors are paid for their travel.
