Busser/Food Runner

Le Mazet is BRAND NEW, vibrant, fun french country concept in West Hartford Center. We are more than just good food; we strive to make every guest experience unique and make everyone feel at home.

We are currently looking to staff our Front of House. We are searching for experienced bussers/ food runners in our high volume restaurant. We are looking for someone who is a self-starter, has a love for creating amazing customer experiences, and is excited about being a part of company with lots of opportunities and growth.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food orders from the kitchen to customers' tables in a timely manner
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of food orders
• Assist in setting up and breaking down tables for service
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth food delivery
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing any customer concerns or requests promptly
• Assist with events as needed

Requirements:

• 1 year experience in the restaurant industry.
• Adheres to core values; passion; partnership, and integrity.
• Approachable, friendly, and ability to positively interact with guests and co-workers.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Proficient written communication skills.
• Proficient in basic computer usage such as email, ordering and POS systems.
• Aptitude for organization and administrative tasks.

• Regular and consistent on-site attendance.

• Continuous physical activity including frequent walking, standing, twisting, sitting, bending, lifting, reaching, kneeling, stooping, crawling, wiping, climbing, and occasionally pushing and pulling items weighing 30 pounds for distances of up to 20 ft.;
• Be able to adeptly use restaurant equipment;

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour

• West Hartford, CT: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
