Description of Job: Forklift Driver
Qualifications:
- Candidate must process and maintain a valid and current driver's license issued by the State of Texas
- Candidate must be able to write legibly in English.
- Candidate's attendance must be exceptional with few unscheduled absences and tardy.
- Candidate must have reliable transportation to and from work.
- Candidate must have the ability to be flexible regarding any request to work after scheduled normal hours.
- Candidate must be Safety orientated with no previous disciplinary actions involving Safety related issues.
- Candidate must be able to abide by all traffic rules and laws regarding controlling speed, obeying posted signs and yielding right-of-way.
Summary of Essential Job Functions:
- Controlling heavy machinery to move materials around a work site.
- Preparing materials and secruringg for safe and easy transport.
- Always aware of their surrounding areas for safety purposes.
