Position Summary: The HRIS Specialist is a highly collaborative role where you will work with HR and all other business units to meet their information needs and be responsible for the administration and reporting of all HR systems. This includes supporting Core HR, Time and Attendance, Payroll, Performance Management, Recruiting, Learning Management, and all other HR-related systems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serve as system administrator and subject matter expert for HR software solutions.
- Collaborate with functional users to determine business requirements to execute system changes (updates, integrations, new configurations) to improve system efficiency, functionality, and stability.
- Research and correct system/user errors as identified through reports or end-user feedback.
- Prepare end-user documentation or training materials to promote increasing use of employee and manager self-service.
- Conduct weekly system trainings for new employees and managers.
- Understand business/functional/user requirements necessary for ad-hoc and standard reporting.
- Develop best solution for need, ensuring security and governance procedures are followed.
- Work with business units on cross-functional integrations (API configurations, etc.).
- Act as a liaison between key functional and business specialists to work with and educate users on applications and technology in support of business processes and enhancements.
- Create and maintain organizational-level security roles to ensure effective, but controlled access to HRIS system functionality for all users.
- Maintain system workflows for individual business processes.
- Responsible for entry of employee data into HRIS system as needed (i.e., creating job codes, locations, business rules, etc.).
- Conduct audits routinely to verify the integrity of HR data across all systems.
- Maintain data integrity and compliance by running reports, auditing, analyzing information and troubleshooting errors.
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Experience and Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Required 2 years of HR system experience as an administrator of the platform.
- Experience using Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI, Cognos, etc.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive employee and company data in a professional manner.
- Ability to juggle various work activities and shift their attention from one task to another to meet the demands of different stakeholders without “dropping the ball.”
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy, team-oriented environment and have a “roll up your sleeves” and “win every day” mentality.
- Hold oneself accountable and responsible while being self-driven in accomplishing goals.
- Detail-oriented and can focus on task at hand by finding the most efficient and effective pathway to completion.

- Ability to logically connect ideas, scrutinize and evaluate arguments, find inconsistencies and errors in work, solve complex problems, and engage in reflection.
- Ability to provide timely and empathetic service through all communication channels keeping peer and customer needs first.
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and/or Access).
- Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications:
- Experience using UKG human resources software or similar HRIS required
- Experience in project management methodology.
- HRIP Certification.
Travel Requirements:
- Occasional overnight travel required.
Overtime/Additional Hours Requirements:
- Additional hours may be required (exempt positions).
Physical Requirements:
- Normal office environment.
- Performs indoor work in a climate-controlled environment.
- Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.
