What are the responsibilities and job description for the Grounds & Sanitation position at Lear Corporation?
Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all aspects of the camper experience are conducted in a compliant fashion for The Salvation Army “Safe From Harm” program.
- General grounds duty as directed by the supervisor including and not limited to, grass cutting, leaf removal, tree and limb removal.
- Keep weeds down around buildings, waterfront, ball field, etc.
- Clean grounds keeping equipment.
- Maintain maintenance building and garages in a clean orderly condition.
- Vacuum Lakeview between camps and as needed during camp sessions. Help keep meeting area clean as needed.
- Check and service restrooms in Lakeview daily.
- Wet mop Cedar Lodge as needed.
- Keep drives, steps, sidewalks, basketball and tennis courts clear of debris, using power blowers and/or sprayers as needed.
- Empty trash cans around camp daily.
- Remove trash from dining room after each meal.
- Clean Pavilion after each encampment.
- All other duties as assigned by supervisor and Camp Administration.
Qualifications:
- Ability to work in a team environment, take direction, and previous lawn maintenance experience preferred.
