Academic Program Supervisor

The Program Supervisor manages and oversees the operations and instructional programs of multiple sites (virtually and/or in person) within the Charlotte-Mecklenburg area.  Responsibilities for all related site management activities include:  hiring, training, and managing staff; instructor observations, client management, business development, reporting and other administrative duties, and education quality.  The program supervisor is responsible for collection, quality control and reporting of all student attendance and program results to parents, principals as well as the appropriate Learn It Managers, and will assist management in meeting educational, contract and financial goals.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain appropriate client relationships with teachers, educational specialists, school administrators, parents and students
• Plan and execute timely and thorough start-up and wrap-up actions and activities for all programs and assigned sites
• Recruit and assume oversight management of all staff for assigned sites. This includes timely and thorough on-boarding, training and coaching, and payroll related actions for teachers and Lead Teachers
• Conduct timely and thorough Site Observations and corrective action plans to ensure compliance with Education Quality standards and contracts for assigned sites
• Ensure completion of student plans and progress reports for all students in assigned sites
• Collect, inspect, and report all student attendance and program results to clients and management in specified time frames
• Ensure data is complete, accurate and up to date in the Company and District database
• Work with Area Manager/VP to ensure P&L management goals are met and or exceeded
• Plan and execute parent involvement and professional development events
• Work with Area Manager to ensure proper and timely submission of invoices
• Oversees business development in local market
• Manage the Learn It! Earn It! Motivational Program
• Work as a team with management to resolve any stakeholder issues or concerns

Qualifications

Position Requirements

• Bachelor Degree required. Masters Preferred.
• 1 year education experience required, Title I experience preferred.
• Minimum 2 years prior experience managing staff, operations and budgets
• Willingness and ability for up to 60% local travel within the Charlotte area. Personal and reliable transportation required.

• Business experience in related field preferred
• Ability to work independently and be able to handle multiple priorities
• Organized and detailed oriented, excellent time management skills
• Ability to provide a high level of customer service to principals, classroom teachers, parents and students
• Ability to build up morale for a diverse team of educators
• Strong administrative and computer skills
• Professional appearance and attitude at all times
