GP Strategies are now looking for a Growth Manager to develop and execute the strategic direction of key GP business development initiatives. With responsibility for the full range of business pursuits, including identification of markets and clients, negotiation, and deal closure, you’ll develop and maintain business relationships with clients to fuel GP’s Learning Experience services. 

This role can be undertaken on a fully remote basis and will include regular travel to client meetings and events within the EMEA region.

What we need  

We’re looking for someone who is experienced in creating long term and successful client partnerships and who thrives in a consultative sales culture. A track record of consultative and conceptual selling would be a great asset, together with a background in HR, OD and/or training processes.

Additionally we’ll need:

  • A data driven, systems thinker who can generate and execute ideas at strategic and tactical levels 
  • Someone who thrives in a fast‐paced environment - getting hands on and practical.
  • An instinctive collaborator with strong solution sales experience who values teamwork and the input of others 
  • Creative visionary with a passion for learning and professional development and the ability to clearly articulate ideas and concepts
  •  Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to understand the big picture
  • Experience with contract negotiations, contracts, standards and processes.

You’ll be confident and decisive with strong interpersonal and social skills and naturally driven by setting and achieving goals.

About the role

You’ll lead the development and implementation of a business plan which details strategies, key results to be achieved, and actions planned to grow, find and win new business.

On a day to day basis you’ll:

  • Generate a new business pipeline from both warm and cold leads, develops an on-going client acquisition strategy through tools such as databases and networking.
  • Manage and develop executive relationships with clients and potential clients in assigned regions or industries. 
  • Produce an agreed upon number of high quality leads in support of the sales objectives.
  •  Lead on contracting accuracy & execution - NDA, MSA, SOW, expansions, extensions, add-ons, change orders, renewal, etc. 
  •  Manage proposal development effort, resource planning, and quality control in support of operating business units.
  • Liaise with relevant stakeholders to ensure they understand the opportunities and delivers presentations and proposals.
  • Develop proposals and presentations for clients.
  • Ensure all learners and employers receive a thorough induction and initial assessment and are presented with all relevant information in line with current policies, procedures and practices.
