Nevada Education Workshop Facilitator/Coach (Part-time)

General Purpose

The Learning Innovation Catalyst (LINC)is changing classrooms around the world, helping educators implement innovative and engaging teaching strategies. Come change the world with us, and ensure that every student gets what they need to thrive. LINC is seeking dynamic educators as a Workshop Facilitator/Coach. The primary role of the Workshop Facilitator/Coach is to deliver workshops and training sessions to educators and leaders in Nevada by leveraging LINC content, tools and methodology to help them develop their practice in blended and personalized learning. In addition, as a Workshop Facilitator/Coach you may provide coaching support and feedback within our learning platform and through virtual synchronous sessions to clients. Projects will begin in the 2023-2024 school year with the possibility of extending beyond that. All training and content materials will be provided by LINC.

Responsibilities:

• Trainings & Workshops:
• Attend trainings on the role and LINC’s methodology
• Contribute to the creation of workshops aligned to the LINC methodology
• Lead or assist LINC team members in the delivery of in person or virtual workshops
• Complete session and delivery reports upon completion of sessions
• Participate in periodic feedback and planning sessions with LINC’s facilitation team
• Other related duties as assigned
• Coaching & Assessments:
• Attend training on the role and LINC’s methodology
• Provide continuous in person or virtual coaching, mentorship and support to client leaders and teachers that models the hallmarks of next generation learning and blended learning models
• Complete needs assessments using an assessment tool with school leadership and/or educators and compile a report with recommendations
• Support clients in the completion of LINCspring cycles (if needed) providing feedback and support within the platform
• Review and provide actionable feedback of artifacts and evidence of practice from educators
• Other related duties as assigned

Position Requirements

• Experience working as an educator and/or school leader within Nevada Public Schools is preferred
• Ability to work and travel within or to nearby districts/counties.
• Commitment to participating in ongoing personal professional learning
• Teaching experience, blended learning coaching or equivalent/relevant experience preferred
• Experience as a blended learning teacher and/or coach or equivalent experience
• Experience in an administrative, lead or coaching facilitation role preferred
• Working knowledge of digital learning platforms
• Knowledge of current best practices in blended and personalized learning
• Access to your own computer and internet access to be used during service delivery and other meetings
• LINC Zoom account/Google Meet access will be provided for virtual sessions

Compensation and Other Details

• Part-time positions available (from 4-24 hours per week)
• In person, on site at Nevada public schools throughout various districts.
• We offer a competitive hourly rate starting at $40 and is commensurate based on previous experience
• Applicants must be able to travel to/from and within all of Nevada during school hours
