Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the company
- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accounted for
- Process debits and credits accurately and in a timely manner
- Prepare financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets
- Assist with general ledger reconciliation and month-end closing procedures
- Handle accounts receivable, including invoicing clients and following up on payments
- Utilize accounting software to record and track financial transactions
- Provide support for corporate accounting tasks as needed
Skills:
- Proficient in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Quicken
- Strong knowledge of financial concepts and principles
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Ability to reconcile accounts and identify discrepancies
- Familiarity with general ledger reconciliation processes
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
