Key Responsibilities
- Designing website improvements that will be A/B tested and implemented across our multiple eCommerce brands (Ledgeloungers.com).
- Testing and validating designs through A/B testing and findings from user interviews and sales reps/customer care
- Led by input from our UX designer and brand standards, finding a balance between the overall user experience and optimizing conversion rate
- Helping establish process improvements to drive efficiency in our design and development process
- Developing and executing design strategy, and have the ability to take projects from concept to production while thoughtfully considering how their designs can support the e-commerce vision, brand guidelines, and company objectives
- Balancing producing visual assets with the creation of online experiences and tooling
- Exhibit a deep understanding of our mission and values, demonstrating an innovative approach to storytelling and conceptual design
- Proven ability to use all types of media and design techniques. Demonstrate taste in layout, typography, photography and visual hierarchy
- Using device screenshots, simulators, prototyping software, and design software (Photoshop, Figma) to build assets for approvals, submissions & final delivery
Requirements
- A solid portfolio and 5 years of experience as a e-commerce web / digital designer (preferably in consumer products or furniture industry)
- Demonstrative experience on conversion rate optimization projects, you’ll be expected to drive improvements to CRO across multiple channels on a monthly basis
- Demonstrative experience working on e-commerce brands focused on paid media and organic search
- Proficiency working in Wordpress, BigCommerce, WooCommerce and Prismic
- Proficient in Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, and Indesign); graphic design experience: cropping, masking, retouching, creating compositions and collages, adding text and saving images for the web.
- Proficient with prototyping tools, including Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or other similar tools
- Proficient with design tools, including Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or other similar tools
- Ability to work quickly and independently, with a strong attention to detail
- Ability to think critically to create hypothesis driven design solutions based on real business problems
- Passion for your craft, with an appetite to continue to challenge yourself and those around you.
- An understanding of brand, design, advertising, SEO, paid media.
