Summary:
The IT Manager is responsible for the overall management of the organization's information technology (IT) infrastructure and operations. This includes planning, designing, implementing, and maintaining IT systems and services that support the organization's business goals while providing an excellent customer experience to our employees.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and enhance essential IT infrastructure, including operating/ticketing systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, desktops, laptops and other hardware and software.
- Provision new hire equipment and software timely and with perfect quality. Provide an excellent IT onboarding experience to new hires.
- Complete immediate resolutions for employee terminations.
- Procure and manage IT services and assets (including vendors) that lead to minimum wifi, computer and printer (multifunction) downtime across all branches.
- Lead projects and seek solutions for IT-related activities across the business.
- Manage IT Helpdesk staff, IT vendors and operations, while handling technical escalations.
- Handle critical IT tasks and system administration.
- Make recommendations for the improvement of company IT solutions, including network, admin, applications and processes.
- Create and maintain application specific training for IT staff
- Collaborate with Accounting to best negotiate pricing with vendors for all IT hardware
- Ensure the most cost effective solutions for all things IT
- Coordinate and process improve with key stakeholders including HR and hiring managers as needed to achieve excellent results.
- Lead the IT department to meet or exceed customer satisfaction, speed and quality goals. Provide weekly reporting to demonstrate.
- Other duties as requested.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in IT, computer science, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in IT management.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Superhuman commitment to Customer Service and mission.
- A bias toward simple, repeatable and dependable solutions that cause an excellent customer experience.
- Deep knowledge of business operations software (i.e. O365, PowerShell, Active Directory, current equipment and technologies, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, and systems performance monitoring.
- Expertise in implementing, configuring, and testing IT solutions.
- Administration and configuration management, WiFi, WAN, LAN and Firewall and switch administration.
- Strong creative and analytical thinking skills.
- Good understanding of Cyber Security principles and methodologies.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience working Salesforce and telephony systems is a plus.
- Ability to lift 10-20 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
