POSITION SUMMARY
Strategic Planning Trainee will provide a full support to SPBD team. He/she will have an opportunity to be involved in various ongoing projects: business reporting, graphic design, APP development and upgrade, website, or digital marketing, etc. This position will assist SPBD team to achieve department goal and simplify the working process in more efficient ways with different aspects and programming knowledges.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

- Utilizes the latest design tools or programming languages to improve layout and design of business reporting (PowerPoint or other Excel applications) to be more organized, presentable, and reader/user friendly.
- Applies programming skills/tools to simplify the monthly report data and content updated procedures.
- Develops tools to streamline data retrieving procedures if possible.
- Assists in future enhancement of App development and feature upgrade based on the user experiences, engagements, and usage tracking.
- Evaluates App performance, CMS tools, or any additional add-on features
- Assists in content creation and graphic design for the Chef App.
- Perform other duties as required or assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

REQUIRED EDUCATION, SKILLS and EXPERIENCES
- A Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, management information system/ technology or related field from an accredited college/university is required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify, analyze and proactively respond to challenging issues and provide recommended course of action.
- Ability to think strategically and creatively to create measurable solutions.
- Project management skills: able to effectively prioritize tasks, track projects and multi-task to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook), CRM platforms, and data analytics software. Other programming skills is a plus.
- Available to work in the Pacific Time Zone and able to accommodate different time zones for meetings and global projects, which may require overtime when necessary.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
- The individual must possess excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills in English.
- Bilingual skill in both written and verbal English and Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is preferred.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
- Ability to apply mathematical concepts to perform all related activities.
- Ability to compute rates and apply fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations and interpret graphs.
- Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
