Cath lab technicians are cardiovascular technologists who work in our facilities and run tests on heart health. They assist with the insertion of catheters into the heart, and are responsible for measuring and administering special fluids.

Responsibilities:

• The Cardiac Cath Tech will provide high quality patient care in emergency and elective proceedures conducted in the Cath Lab.
• The CV Tech provides care for age 18-39 yrs yung adults, 40-64 yrs adult and 65 geriatric patients.

• 
  Graduation from an accredited Radiographic Technologist program or accredited Cardiology Technologist program is preferred.
• ARRT (RT) (R) or ARRT CI/CV/VI or Registered Cardiovascular Specialist (RCIS) required within 12 months of hire. BLS required. ACLS required within 6 months of hire.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in Cardiac Cath Lab tech role
• On Call Required and must have the ability to report to LSMC within 30 minutes of call back.
