Seeking a Payroll Manager in the healthcare industry for a company in Boca with 1,500 employees. The position is hybrid with 2 days in the office, and 3 days work from home.
Responsibilities:
- Own and manage the entire payroll process from start to finish using Workday
- Serve as subject matter expert for Workday and all payroll issues
- Process new hires, terminations, tax changes, wage garnishments, deductions, commissions, bonuses, time entry, and employee stock options
- Assist with year-end payroll processing and adjustments.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with all departments for accuracy of pay and reporting
- Confirm compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
- Review verification and processing of all payroll data
- Work with payroll vendors to manage processing and comply with internal policies and all government regulations
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required
- CPP Certification required
- 5 to 7 years' experience managing a payroll team and processing payroll is a fast-paced, and large corporate environment with more than 1,000 employees
- Strong experience and knowledge of internal payroll and accounting functions, and Workday and ADP software
- Proficient in Excel
- Strong knowledge of multi-state payroll tax required
- Excellent organization, time management and prioritization skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Superb confidentiality required
- Strong leadership skills and excellent customer service
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $105,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
