Minimum Professional Qualifications for Assistant Teachers:
Must have a:
- High school diploma or High school equivalent or High school certificate of coursework completion
- Demonstrates understanding of early childhood development and developmentally appropriate practice
- Meets all requirements of licensing and regulatory agencies
- Accepts and believes in the philosophy and mission of the school
- Displays positive interpersonal skills, as well as critical thinking, and problem solving skills
- Meets the minimum age requirement of 18 years of age
- Must be able to pass the DFPS background check
- Be free of active tuberculosis
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least a year of prior experience in a regulated child-care center; or
- Documentation of at least 24 clock hours of training at another regulated child-care center.
Cash Bonus after Probationary period.

Pay: $11.00 - $15.00 per hour
