We are seeking a certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with valid Virginia NP and DEA licenses for an opportunity in post-acute care settings to provide psychiatric care.

In this role, your responsibilities will include:
- Assess patient's mental health and evaluate conditions which require care
- Recertifications
- Prescribe appropriate medications when necessary and titrate medications with alternative therapy and care plans when appropriate.
- Follow the approved care plan for each patient
- Ensure exceptional inpatient care in a post-acute care setting
- Patient volume is approximately 15 to 20 patients each day

Qualifications
- Nurse Practitioner degree from an accredited nursing school
- Active Virginia NP license and DEA license in good standing
- Certification as a PMHNP
- 1 year of experience as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (post-acute care experience preferred)
- Proficiency with EMR
