Primary Job Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of the Controller, the successful candidate will be responsible for accounts payable, payroll, bank reconciliations, general journal entries, account analysis, and other duties as necessary. The person in this role will assist with reconciliation of some GL accounts as needed and will have opportunities to cross train to learn additional duties within the accounting department as necessary.
Skills:
· Handle and execute all Accounts Payable functions
· Understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable principles
· Ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
· Data entry and clerical skills
· High proficiency with spreadsheets and accounting/business software a plus
· Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Access, etc)
· Excellent customer service and communication skills
· Accuracy and attention to detail
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35,000.00 - $38,000.00 per year
