Facilities Support
Company Overview : The Dillard House Farm Resort is a new addition to the Legacy Ventures portfolio and will be an exciting adventure as we build on what the Dillard family has developed since .
This one-of-a-kind property is nestled in the picturesque Tennessee River Valley within a two-hour drive north of Atlanta in Rabun County.
It will represent tradition with authentically sourced cuisine, numerous outdoor activities and outstanding southern charm and hospitality.
Summary : As a Resort Facilities Support team member, you play a vital role in maintaining the overall appearance, functionality, and safety of the resort’s physical facilities and grounds.
Your contributions ensure a positive experience for guests and support the smooth operation of all resort activities and services.
This position supports all aspects of the housekeeping department, housekeeping public areas, laundry services, guest units, and grounds.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Facility Cleaning and Sanitation
- Clean and sanitize public and staff areas, including restrooms, dining areas, and common spaces.
- Empty trash bins, replace liners, and ensure waste disposal procedures are followed.
- Monitor cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies need to be replenished.
- Distribution of cleaning supplies / linens to staff throughout the resort
Safety and Compliance :
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Report any safety hazards, incidents, or maintenance issues to the appropriate department promptly.
- Assist in maintaining compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Team Collaboration :
- Work collaboratively with other resort departments, including housekeeping, guest service, engineering and activities, to support overall resort operations.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors to coordinate tasks and prioritize assignments.
Maintenance Assistance :
- Assist with routine maintenance tasks such as painting, light bulb replacement, filter cleaning / replacement, under the supervision of maintenance staff.
- Help with the set-up and takedown of equipment and furniture for events and activities.
Grounds Support and Landscaping :
- Support the grounds team in maintaining the resort grounds, including mowing lawns, trimming bushes, planting flowers, and watering plants.
- Assist with snow removal during winter months using shovels, snow blowers, or other equipment. Ensure outdoor areas are clean and free of debris, including pathways, parking lots, and recreational areas.
Other :
- Self-starting personality with an even disposition to effectively communicate with guests, team members and community.
- Be familiar with and adhere to Legacy Ventures Service standards as outlined in the Blueprint and other policies / rules of conduct, to include personal appearance / grooming, attendance and safe / efficient operations.
- Thoroughly clean sinks, toilets, urinals, mirrors, tiles, counters, walls, stalls, vents and / or floors with cleaning agents for all public restrooms.
- Thoroughly dust all furniture, pictures, and shelves, extending arms over head, bending and stooping as needed for all public spaces.
- Adhere to cleaning procedures and instructions for use of cleaning agents.
- Replenishes supplies for business center and other areas as needed.
- Cleans corridors and stairways, vacuums rugs, carpets, upkeep upholstered furniture, and draperies.
- Dusts furniture. Washes walls, ceiling, and woodwork. Washes windows, door panels, and sills.
- Empties wastebaskets, transports trash and waste to disposal area.
- Removes any items left behind from public areas and takes to lost and found with proper documentation.
- Reports any maintenance related problems to the maintenance department through the proper communication channels.
- Team member will empower himself to accept any customer problem brought to their attention as their problem and do everything in their power to get the problem resolved.
- Team members will assume the responsibility of maintaining the storerooms in a clean, neat, and organized state.
- Acknowledgment and a pleasant greeting given to every guest. Interacts with internal and external customers in a positive, professional and accommodating manner.
- Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
- Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
