Legal Services of North Florida is a non-profit legal firm with approximately 100 staff members in six offices across sixteen counties in North Florida serving only low-income and vulnerable individuals and families and never charges a fee for services to clients. LSNF works to meet the legal needs of children, elderly, victims of abuse, and those with disabilities. LSNF’s priority areas of representation include support for families; preserving the home; maintaining economic stability; safety, stability and health; and serving populations with special vulnerabilities. These translate to cases involving Family Law, Housing, Public Benefits, Employment, Education, and Health Care issues.
LSNF has an opening for a Attorney in our Quincy office and is seeking a candidate with the ability to work independently and in team environments to obtain results to positively impact the legal needs of low-income and vulnerable individuals in our community with a focus on civil law matters such as family law, victims' advocacy, and domestic violence.
Applicants should be a member of The Florida Bar, with preference given to candidates with clinical or legal aid experience. Candidates must have strong organizational and communication skills, be comfortable with office technology, and able to learn electronic case management system.
Salary is negotiable depending on experience. Comprehensive fringe benefits package includes: paid holidays, paid vacation (which after two years, increases to five weeks per year), and sick leave. After sixty days of full-time employment, employee would be eligible for employer paid health insurance for employee & dependent children. Additional voluntary options of term life, disability insurance, and retirements plans are also available. After one year of service, LSNF also contributes 6% to retirement plan.
