The Account Executive is responsible for growing existing custom merchandise sales and developing new customer relationships. The Account Executive will work closely with the sales support staff to develop new ideas and solutions for a vast array of partners to increase sales, exceed margin goals and bring energy and ideas to the team. The Account Executive is responsible for the continued custom solutions sales growth in a wide array of existing relationships such as NCAA, NFL, NHL, MLB, Motorsports and Entertainment. The Account Executive should be a self-motivated and positive professional and will work under the direction and guidance of the Vice President of Sales Legends Global Merchandise.
A key understanding of solution-based merchandise sales, such as stadium activations, fulfillment initiatives, and sales goals.
Understanding of how to grow wholesale, premium, and promotional business, based on established relationships, new business opportunities and strategic planning.
Establishes sales plan for fiscal year.
Makes outbound lead follow-up calls to potential and existing customers by telephone and e-mail to qualify leads and sell products and services.
Emphasizes salable features, quotes prices and credit terms, and prepares sales orders for orders obtained.
Builds and maintains customer relationships.
Prepares reports of business transactions.
Enters new customer data and other sales data for current customers into computer database.
Visits customers at their place of business to establish complete understanding of needs and to maximize sales opportunities.
May travel to and attend sporting events for new customer perspective or gain an understanding of existing customers.
Assist Sales Team in development merchandise assortments for key accounts; estimating date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of LGM’s production and delivery schedules.
Responsible for driving $500,000 per year in new business and growth for existing business.
Must possess a high level of professionalism in a team structure both internally, with vendors and clients.
Must be creative, problem solving and a critical thinker.
The candidate will be responsible for offering a full menu of services.
Responsible for setting and conducting out of the office appointments

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) or equivalent from four-year College and two yearsrelated sales experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

This position requires that the person be highly organized, self-motivated individual who can work independently.
Must have strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand.
Must be able to manage multiple tasks and priorities and easily adapt to changing situations.
Strong computer skills are a must. Use of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and comfortable use of Internet is necessary.
Must have excellent data entry skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to understand and follow work processes.
The ability to develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with others and maintaining them over time.
Must have strong negotiating skills and understand how important managing and increasing margins are to the bottom line.
Proficient knowledge of Legends Global Merchandise’s systems, policies & procedures.
Position requires sitting using computers, entering data which requires attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.

Position is located in an office area and could have interruptions due to an open space concept.
Occasionally works at event locations that are outdoors with exposure to the climate, dust, odors, and noise.
