As a Traffic Manager you will be responsible for effectively managing the Traffic, Shipping and Routing Coordinators. Your contributions will have a direct impact on the business by overseeing that our customers’ orders are produced and scheduled accurately and ensure that our fleet of drivers are able to deliver to our customers in a timely manner.

As a Traffic Manager you’ll:

• Maintain and review drivers logs.
• Maintain departments and driver’s payroll.
• Be familiar with contracts and capital projects in the traffic and shipping area of responsibility.
• Maintain control of all department expenses.
• Monitor all aspects of employee performance.
• Work with vendors on equipment and personnel needs.
• Enforce compliance with Leggett & Platt and State and Federal DOT regulations.
• Enforce corporate safety policies.
• Provide a safe and positive working environment.
• 100% customer satisfaction through implementation of LP9000 practices.
