Schools and Groups Sales Booking Coordinator
About the Role
We are looking for dynamic Schools and Groups Booking Coordinator to join our team. As the Schools and Groups Booking Coordinator you will be right in the heart of the magic, assisting and communicating with our guests to find resolutions to their concerns and make recommendations on how to enhance their experience at LEGOLAND Discovery Centre Toronto. Compensation for this opportunity starts at $18/hour.
About Your Job:
- Respond to incoming requests for events (via email, telephone, or in-person) while providing courteous, efficient, and helpful services to our guests
- Arrange in the calendar a scheduling to delegate each event to the correct department
- Provide support to the Marketing department including assisting with the clerical and project management duties.
- Adopts an enthusiastic, assertive and passionate approach to guest service and demonstrates the Merlin Values at every opportunity.
- Ensure at all times to deliver the highest level of customer service to internal and external partners, clients, suppliers, and guests.
- To do any reasonable duty as detailed by the Management team of the attraction.
- Process transactions and take payments on POS (training will be provided on-site).
About You:
- Minimum of 1-2 years of service industry experience in a visitor attraction, theme park, museum, hotel or theater environment; or equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Previous call centre or customer service experience.
- Proven ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and multi task as necessary.
- Extensive knowledge of computer including Microsoft Office - Excel, Outlook and Word
- Desire to work in fast-paced environments.
- Must be flexible and able to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and special events.
Education:
High School Diploma or GED required.
