Porter

Legow Management Company, L.L.C., is a family owned and operated real estate investment and management business. We own and manage 35 rental apartment communities throughout New Jersey and one in Deerfield Beach, Florida.

We are seeking a Porter for Carlyle Towers, a 106-unit high rise apartment community located on Bloomfield Avenue in Caldwell, NJ. Our Porter works closely with the Superintendent to provide outstanding customer service to our residents.

Responsibilities include the following:

· Remove trash and recycling

· Remove carpet from apartments

· Move appliances in apartments

· Clean each floor of the building and vacuum carpeting

· Clean apartment windows

· Unload supplies that are delivered to the property

· Clean outside grounds, parking lots and garages insuring they are clean and free of debris

· Clean common areas of the building including but not limited to leasing office, fitness center, community room, laundry room

· Shovel snow and remove ice as needed

· Assist Superintendent with work orders as needed

Qualifications for this position include the following:

· Must be able to lift 40-60 pound bags of garbage from compactor machine

· Strong customer service skills

· For safety and productivity reasons, must have the ability to read and write the English language

· Must be available for after-hours emergencies including Saturday’s, Sunday’s and holidays

· Must have a valid driver’s license
