Job Summary:
Teaches and supervises nursing students in the classroom and/or clinical settings and contributes to the professional development of nursing students.
Education - Required:
Bachelor's Degree Nursing and
Master's Degree Nursing (or actively enrolled) in ACEN/NLNAC or CCNE accredited program.
Education - Preferred:
Master's Degree or
Doctorate
Experience - Required:
3 years Teaching in a classroom or clinical setting.
Experience - Preferred:
Advanced technologies used to deliver or evaluate educational experiences such as course management systems.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities - Required:
Demonstrates integrity, stability, imagination, and discriminative judgment in instruction of nursing students.
Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Demonstrates interest and respect for students.
Demonstrates commitment to life-long learning.
Demonstrates respect, collegiality, professionalism, and caring in relations with administration, staff, colleagues, and students.
Knowledge of FERPA.
Licensure - Required:
Registered Nurse Upon Hire
Licensure - Preferred:
Certified Nurse Educator within 180 Days
