Job Description
Seeking an experienced CAD Engineer who will provide application support for design projects at Marshall Space Flight Center. The applicant will interface with MSFC designers, engineers, and database administrators in the creation and product lifecycle management of CAD designs, parts, assemblies, and drawings.

Primary Responsibilities
- Installation and configuration of engineering applications.
- Development and documentation of "Best Practices" for the MSFC userbase.
- Troubleshooting of CAD tool problems encountered by users.
- Testing new application releases.
- Providing user support for release packages (PLM).
- Interface with PLM systems for CAD data management.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies, trends, and best practices with CAD packages.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent years of experience
- Minimum of 3 years' experience, 5 years preferred, of CAD modeling.
- Experience with PLM systems.
- Willingness and ability to interact with engineers, designers, and database managers.
- Working knowledge to read and understand engineering drawings.
- Onsite support at Marshall Space Flight Center is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Teamcenter or Windchill experience
Position will pay $75-95k depending on experience
Pay Range:Pay Range $65,000.00 - $117,500.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
