Description
The Science and Infrastructure Business Area within Leidos is seeking an Industrial Security Representative to perform Facility Security Officer responsibilities to include coordinating and monitoring highly sensitive aspects of industrial security programs and other security activities while ensuring compliance with government and company security policies and procedures.
Active Top Secret Clearance Required
Primary Responsibilities :
- Implement and provide guidance to customers and management on security issues, to include preparing security investigation and violation reports and managing Public Trust suitability and personnel security clearance requirements across multiple programs.
- Perform oversight of facility access controls, including classified document and visitor control systems, security education and awareness, and receipt / dispatch / destruction / mail logs, ensuring customer requirements are met.
- Interface with all levels of Leidos personnel, contractor, and government personnel to ensure contract security compliance with 32 CFR 117 Contract Security Classification Specification (DD254) and Program Classification Guides.
- Work as part of a team, exhibiting flexibility and excellent organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Provide clear guidance to employees and recommend modifications to operations, policies, or procedures as appropriate.
- Assist with proposal writing and contract closeouts.
Key Requirements :
- Knowledge and understanding of physical security compliance requirements to independently implement security procedures that will prevent unauthorized access to company and government facilities or information, including :
- SF-86, SF-312, DD-254
- Collateral closed areas
- 32 CFR 117 and other relevant Department of Defense security guidance
- eQIP / eAPP
- Courier preparation procedures
- NASA Public Trust Suitability Processing
- Access Control and Intrusion Detection Systems
- Technology Control Plans (TCP) and Operations Security (OPSEC) Plans
- Critical Thinking, including the ability to independently analyze moderate problems, interpret company and government security policies, and apply them to program operations to provide focused solutions and develop and implement OPSEC plans.
- Strong communications, including experience effectively and confidently conveying information and guidance to various audiences and addressing security risks with senior leaders, program managers, and external constituents as well as experience creating and conducting security briefings / debriefings, indoctrinations, pre / post foreign travel and refresher briefings.
- Judgment and decision-making to accurately assess or investigate situations and reach sound conclusions impacting high value contracts.
- Prior completion of the Center for Development of Security Excellence FSO Program Management for Possessing Facilities
- Strong customer relationship management experience, including creating and delivering the highest value to customers and demonstrated ability to successfully handle multiple tasks as well as conflicting customer requirements.
Required Experience :
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or in lieu of a degree, equivalent experience / combined education.
- A minimum of 3 years of security experience performing physical, personnel and administration security responsibilities.
- Proven ability as a self-starter who can work independently to deliver the highest value to customers.
- An Active Secret Top Secret clearance.
Preferred Experience :
Experience developing and establishing effective security awareness, training, and education programs.

Pay Range :
Pay Range $61,750.00 - $111,625.00
The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
