Description
Dynetics is seeking a talented Administrative Assistant to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions. The Administrative Assistant will work closely with all levels and types of staff within the Space Systems Division - including engineering and technical staff, executives, and customers. Therefore, a professional demeanor and good communications skills are required. Ethical behavior and the ability to be trusted with confidential data and other corporate matters are critical.
Primary Responsibilities
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Screening calls
Meeting coordination and event hosting
Managing calendars and reminders
Greeting and escorting visitors
Assist with internal program reports and reviews
Travel planning and processing of expense reports
Assistance with new-employee set-up
Coordinating building maintenance requests
Working with other administrative staff supporting corporate events
Entering and monitoring the status of purchase requests
Monitoring timesheet and training completion
Tracking of budgets and expenditures and support to project control staff may also be required
Basic Qualifications
Preferred candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or equivalent degree from an ABET-accredited university with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
In lieu of degree, High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of three years of applicable experience as an administrative professional is required.
Candidate must have demonstrated software experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
The position requires candidates to be capable of performing in a collaborative engineering environment working closely with multi-disciplinary teams.
Candidate must be a US Citizen
Preferred Qualifications
Working knowledge of business applications including Deltek Costpoint 8, IBM Cognos, and SAP Concur Travel
Person will have an interest or passion in space exploration and/or defense.
Experience in SharePoint administrative activies to include set up, permission management and standardized template use.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $53,950.00 - $97,525.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
