Leidos is looking to hire a Transition Manager to work on an integration, operations, and sustainment program. The qualified candidate will lead all transition activities on the program across all task orders, while also leading other initiatives including process improvement and technology implementation. The transition manager will work hand-in-hand with technical and program leadership and stakeholders, ensuring collaboration across all aspects of the program and driving results. In addition, the role will require working closely with the task order teams to define priorities and schedules, implement monitoring and performance metrics, and ensure effective hand offs of capabilities.

The successful candidate will define and manage all steps necessary for effective transitions of new capabilities, including internally developed. In addition, driving process improvements, identifying opportunities including technical solutions, supporting proposals, and other tasks as prioritized by program leadership.

Basic Qualifications:
- Requires Masters degree and 15 years of prior relevant experience; OR additional years of experience in lieu of degree
- Must currently possess an active TS clearance, with the ability to obtain SCI with Polygraph post hire
- Significant experience leading IT programs and processes with a focus on continuous improvement
- Understanding of agile organizational structures, roles and responsibilities
- Excellent communication skills with experience briefing all levels of stakeholders, and ability establish and manage regular battle rhythms.
- Experience transitioning systems in, driving all technical and management requirements
- Experience supporting proposals and driving solutions
- Ability to work with limited supervision, identifying key areas of need or priority
- Demonstrated ability to deliver results
Preferred Qualifications:
- An active TS/SCI with a Polygraph
- Geospatial and/or NGA experience
- PMP certification
- Technical/IT certification
- Understanding of cloud technologies specifically Amazon Web services (AWS)
- Expert understanding of agile SW development methodologies and certification (SAFe)
- Experience with various aspects of project management (Specifically proposals, staffing, team development, risk, subcontracting)
- 2 years of experience supervising or leading teams
