The Mid-Market Regional Sales SMB Sales Manager is responsible for the management of a team of inside sales professionals who are charged with growing Commercial business accounts with 500-999 employees.
This manager and ISR's do not have field counterparts, so they are responsible for end-to-end management of the sales process. The manager will need to develop a sales strategy and marketing campaigns for winning new acquisition customers while growing and retaining their existing customers. Cross-collaboration with specialists and the category organization will be key to success. This manager is responsible for managing the P&L of this organization, so financial acumen is needed to ensure this acquisition business is profitable.
This business is channel led, so the manager should understand how to partner with the VAR and NSP organizations to win. Activities include all people management responsibilities, sales performance measurements, delivery of sales results, and execution of Lenovo's strategic objectives. The ability to nurture and grow a high-performance team with a strong cultural foundation is of paramount interest as a member of the broader team. This team is dedicated to the Northeast Territory.
Position Qualifications:
Required:
- 5-7 years of sales experience, Channel and IT sales. FTF experience is preferred.
- Completed university or college degree. STEM degree preferred.
- Excellent Communication abilities with a specific focus on interpersonal skills, as well as verbal, written, and listening skills. Fluency in English (written/verbal).
Preferred:
- Demonstrated success as a strategic thinker. Understanding of how to create a data-driven strategy is preferred.
- Some sought skills are the ability to tightly forecast, quick action with understood outcomes, risk taker when called upon, customer first throughout functions (to name a few).
- Proven ability to successfully handle a variety of tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Management or leadership experience an asset - Strong interest in a sales career path and leading a high-performance sales culture.
- This role will be located at Lenovo's Morrisville NC Office and working a hybrid schedule
