As a Motorola Video Editor, you will work closely and communicate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment of creative across functions. You love to stay up to date on design best practices as well as consumer research to inform creative recommendations. The ideal candidate is motivated to work both on a team and independently, and maintains a positive attitude supporting multiple projects while thriving in a fast-paced environment. With a strong understanding of the Motorola brand, you will develop design solutions from concept through final production integrating copy, graphics, imagery and typography.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Deliver creative concepts, board designs and video files for all deliverables with high attention to detail
Provide creative video & motion work in alignment with the brand guidelines
Able to create original and custom designs in addition to following provided templates and brand guides (varies by project)
Manage and prioritize projects with the marketing manager to ensure on-time delivery
Use files provided by others to develop additional sizes and campaign elements as needed.
Provide ideas and graphic translation of ideas during brainstorm meetings
Provide the creative aspects of video/motion projects including, but not limited to: graphics for email, content marketing/social media, display media advertisements, video content for point-of-sale, video template backgrounds, etc
Stay on top of trends in design
Maintain working files and folders: including stock footage, logos and video projects
Other creative tasks as requested by management
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's Degree in related field required
Minimum 4 years’ experience in a comparable creative position required
Must have experience developing video & motion-based marketing materials
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
Must be highly proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite: After Effects, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Acrobat. (Ability with 3D modeling & C4D a plus)
Must be able to use a PC computer (Motorola is a Lenovo Company)
Possess a strong sense of concept development, in addition to communicating a concept verbally and written
Familiar with Microsoft applications including: Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
Has strong design and layout abilities
Exhibits the following qualities: energetic, quick learner, problem-solver and a self-starter
Must be a team player who is able to collaborate with team members and stakeholders
Thrives in a fast-paced environment and demonstrates a sense of urgency
Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality and handle highly sensitive information with maturity
Ability to take on new assignments and respond positively to instructions and creative direction
Strong, professional verbal and written communication skills
