Summary: The Recruiting Coordinator will have the opportunity to recruit for a variety of positions; support recruitment and onboarding throughout the company; as well as participate in and provide administrative support for the overall talent program. The Recruiting Coordinator will join a dynamic and growth-oriented environment at a leading General Contractor reporting to the Manager, Talent Acquisition and Development.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Recruiting
- Early career recruiting including sourcing and interviewing talent for internships, entry level positions and positions requiring 1-5 years of experience. Attending college career fairs/networking events
- Source candidates using a variety of methods including online platforms (Handshake, LinkedIn), employee referrals, career fairs
- Conduct preliminary candidate screenings
- Provide excellent applicant experience and support to hiring teams throughout the hiring process from initial contact and screening to offer acceptance and onboarding
- Promote Leopardo Companies career opportunities for future applicants
- Point of contact and resource for hiring managers/teams as needed including answering questions about the hiring process and onboarding paperwork
- Post open positions in Jobvite ensuring accuracy and equal opportunity
- Support talent and diversity networks for candidate flow including sending out requisition details to partner organizations and communicating needs
- Coordinate and schedule preliminary and hiring manager interviews
- Draft offer letters
- Point person for compliance with federal contractor staffing requirements including record keeping for applicants and interview notes, maintaining state job board postings and logging outreach
- Monitor careers email address for applicant inquiries, reply to general applications and resumes sent in the mail or dropped off
- Participate in cultivating and managing a candidate pipeline for high performing talent
- Early career recruiting including sourcing and interviewing talent for internships, entry level positions and positions requiring 1-5 years of experience. Attending college career fairs/networking events

- Backup for onboard new employees including I9, E-verify, coordinating orientation schedule
- Talent & HR Support
- Manage the job description library
- Ad hoc reporting
- Participate in special projects and provide administrative support to the HR team as necessary
Education / Experience Requirements:
1 year of experience in HR administration or recruiting; experience working at a federal contractor or in the construction industry is a plus. Bachelor’s degree preferred
Organized, self-starter able to prioritize while supporting internal and external customers (such as hiring managers, team members, applicants and potential candidates.)
Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and aptitude for learning various HR technology platform such as Learning Management System (LMS), Performance Management Systems (PMS), and Employee Self Service (ESS)
Proficient with MS Office Suite; knowledge of Jobvite and/or Viewpoint a plus.

Work is performed in a professional office setting. The employee is consistently required to talk or hear; stand, walk and sit in combination and/or sequence; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; have adequate close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus; keyboard, write and read. Hand-eye coordination is necessary to operate computers and various pieces of office equipment. The employee must occasionally lift and /or move up to 25 pounds; stoop, kneel, bend, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and / or move up to 10 pounds.

This job operates in a controlled indoor environment where the noise level is usually quiet. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
