Leading Freight Forwarder / NVOCC/ Customs House Broker/Tank Container Operator, with locations in 24 countries and over 3300 employees strong is seeking a National Account Manager to be based out of its Houston, TX Office. This position offers an exceptional opportunity.
Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:
· Develop, modify and implement strategic plans for each account.
· Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of the customers logistics requirements and expectations, identifying business opportunities where appropriate.
· Ensure SOPs are complete, modifying where appropriate.
· Collaboratively ensure KPIs are mutually agreed, monitored and corrective actions pursued, where necessary.
· Drive Continuous Improvement initiatives beneficial to both account and Leschaco
· Deliver continually expanded digitization connectivity between account and Leschaco
· Expand the strategic relationships via key contacts within the customer organizations to sustain and develop value focused opportunities.
· Represent the interest of Leschaco to the customer in a highly professional manner.
· Monitor and review customer activity and modifies strategies as needed.
· Facilitate regular meetings with clients and relevant operations staff to evaluate performance and identify opportunities for improvement i.e. Service Quality Meetings, Quarterly Business Reviews, etc.
· Solicit customer feedback regarding future plans, anticipated changes or challenges.
· Identify new business opportunities, developing and securing incremental revenue and market share through promotion of all services.
· Cross-sell the company's suite of products and services in a global team environment.
· Work collaboratively with the operational staff to ensure customers' needs and expectations are met. Be a strong advocate for the customer within the Leschaco organization.
· Assist in development and reporting of competitive market analysis.
· Maintain and provide statistical data and designated KPI performance to both customers and Leschaco management.
· Complete administrative functions in a timely manner.
· Maintain a high level of expertise and knowledge of products and services.

Requirements:Job Requirements:
· Minimum 4 years’ experience in sales in the logistics industry – Bachelor's Degree in business, logistics or related field is a plus
· Very strong negotiation and presentation skills
· High achieving, ambitious and result-oriented
· Must exemplify professionalism and leadership qualities with strong organizational and time management skills
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Must have a valid driver's license, a dependable automobile and acceptable motor vehicle record
Salary : $83,600 - $107,700
