MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN -- for Single-Family Rental Homes

Are you looking for a long-term and stable position, AND, an employer that offers tremendous growth opportunity? We are looking for two (2) Maintenance Technicians to be a part of our fast-growing Operations Team.

The right person for this role will have experience as a home-repair handyman or working for single-family REITs providing maintenance for single-family homes, or as a maintenance tech working at a large multi-family property. The right candidate will have broad experience handling general HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, toilets, painting, flooring, appliances, doors, walls/drywall, and minor exterior work.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain our luxury properties in the Atlanta metro area.
• Repair structures such as showers, sinks, toilets, appliances, doors/cabinets, walls, and building exteriors.
• Minor HVAC repairs and replenishing refrigerant.
• Minor Appliance Repair.
• Must be able to exemplify and exercise discretion and sound independent judgment to evaluate the quality of work.
• Represent the company in a professional manner at all times.
• Perform other related duties and responsibilities as required.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong knowledge of Real Estate Construction, Renovations, and Repairs.
• Minimum 2-3 years building maintenance experience performing some carpentry, HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and painting.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail & high-performance standards
• Excellent communication skills (both oral & written).
• Must be able to speak, write, and understand English.
• Ability to work efficiently and to multi-task
• Proven record of working independently and with minor supervision
• An effective team player with a positive attitude
• Able to be on-call for responding to after-hours emergencies.
• Prior maintenance experience working at a large multi-family property, or within the single-family rental industry

EDUCATION

• High school or equivalent (required)

LICENSES OR CERTIFICATIONS

• Valid Driver’s License
• EPA (preferred)
• OSHA (preferred)
