Job Description
LevelUp is seeking a Snowflake DBA who is interested in joining a company that is currently implementing Snowflake in their environment. Qualified candidates would get a chance to add input before, and during implementation, while also ensuring the Snowflake DB is optimized post-implementation. This is an opportunity to experience Snowflake end-to-end, which ultimately leads to the DBA maintaining Snowflake, and uploading data from on-prem databases within the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Storage planning, virtual warehouse sizing, and database setup.
- Develop, build & maintain mission critical centralized data platform using Snowflake.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot Snowflake database errors.
- Implement Snowflake user /query log analysis and alerts.
- Managing and monitoring the database availability and performance.
- Should be able to work with cross-functional teams.
Experience:
- Experience working with Snowflake in an Enterprise environment.
- Database administration experience.
- Desire to work with a team in the initial phases of bringing Snowflake into the organization.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
