The Family Nurse Practitioner will be the main care provider for the site.

At our facility as a Family Nurse Practitioners you will provide general and preventative care, conduct check-ups, treat illnesses, order lab tests and prescribe medication for all patients.
Primary Job Duties:
- Perform complete physical exams and assessments of patients including urgent, emergent and non-urgent presentation.
- Select, order, perform and interpret diagnostic tests including X-rays as appropriate.
- Analyze reports and findings of tests to diagnose patients.
- Prescribe or administer treatment, therapy, medication, vaccination and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness and injury.
- Refers patients to PCP or specialist as appropriate.
- Perform procedures including laceration repair, I & D’s, IV, removal of foreign bodies, splinting and casting, ear irrigations.
- Explain procedures, discuss test results and prescribed treatments with patients.
- Document findings and treatment course in patient electronic medical record including follow-up notes.
- Direct professional and ancillary staff regarding treatment of patients.
- Interact with medical practices and emergency room physicians to create a cooperative atmosphere.
- Maintain an up to date knowledge base for medical conditions and injuries that may present to an urgent care setting.
- Assist with training and orienting new provider staff.
- Maintain strictest confidentiality.
- Supervise and collaborate with advanced practice providers in accordance with state regulation.
Licensure/Certifications:
- Board Certification in Family Practice or Emergency Medicine.
- State and Federal licensure.
Knowledge:
- Knowledge of medical coding.
- Knowledge of the principles and practice of urgent care medicine.
- Knowledge of the principles and practice of occupational health
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $95.00 per hour
