Purpose:
The Client Specialist creates exceptional customer experiences, enabling others on the sales team to build lasting relationships with our customers. The Client Specialist performs activities related to driving sales and supporting the sales team.
This position is a training position for the Sales Associate role with a maximum assignment length of six months.
Job Description/Duties:
- Participates in all store sales meetings.
- Attends all Store vendor training. Presents training to the store team in a weekend meeting for all to benefit.
- Understands daily/weekly promotions and how to price merchandise accordingly.
- Assists with ad set and ad pricing on showroom floor.
- Processes transactions through the POS system.
- Assists customers and sales team with finance options and how to apply through waterfall porthole.
- Understands and distributes greeter sheets.
- Utilizes Digital Ups system and manages customer flow during open floor.
- Assists sales team on PPP presentation and processes.
- Learns and demonstrates thorough knowledge of Sleep sales process, policies and comfort trail.
- Assists with PPP sales process and product.
- Social media specialist – to leverage the campaigns that are launched globally in the store market place stronger with staff participation.
- Assists with store presentation standards, pricing, (Memo’s) and “Ready All Day” floor maintenance.
- Assists sales team with scheduling filled orders.
- Assists sales team with transactions during open floor.
- Engages incoming customer calls for sales as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications/Skills:
- Flexibility/availability to work a retail hours/scheduling: includes evenings, weekends, holidays and/or special events.
- Demonstrates exceptional customer service.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, and listening skills.
- Basic reading and comprehension skills.
- Basic numerical reasoning skills.
- Ability to complete paperwork in an accurate, neat and efficient manner.
- Demonstrated knowledge of basic PC skills.
- Outstanding customer service skills.
- Education: High School Diploma and/or GED Equivalent and above.
