Job Description:
As a Food Service Cashier, you will be the primary point of contact for our customers during their dining experience. Your main responsibility will be to process food orders and handle payment transactions accurately and efficiently. Your warm demeanor and attention to detail will ensure that each customer enjoys a smooth and pleasant checkout process.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers warmly as they approach the cashier station.
- Accurately process food orders, ensuring items are correctly entered into the point-of-sale system.
- Handle cash, credit card, and mobile payment transactions with precision and honesty.
- Provide customers with information about menu items, specials, and promotions.
- Answer customer inquiries and address any concerns or issues regarding transactions.
- Maintain a clean and organized cashier station, including restocking necessary supplies.
- Collaborate with kitchen and serving staff to ensure smooth order flow and timely service.
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards to uphold a safe dining environment.
