Floor Coating Install Technician
Reporting to the General Manager, LGC Floors LLC is seeking a talented and experienced installation technician to install a new floor coating technology and serve the customers in the Northwest Florida /Southeast Alabama area. Business is growing. This position is posted as part-time, but expected to transition to full-time.
The Install Technician is responsible for completing the installation process of a green coating technology, including base coat, flake, and topcoat applications. You will excel in this role if you have the following qualifications. You have experience working in a role that prioritizes attention to detail, working independently, and applying some type of coating to an existing concrete surface. You can quickly learn a new product offering along with its installation methods. You are comfortable working on-site for clients and providing quality services while adhering to a customer focused Jobsite Code of Conduct. You are an accountable self-starter that enjoys working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment where you are valued for your contribution.
Responsibilities:
- Effective and efficient installation of a new, all-natural floor coating technology
- Attention to detail while working on a customers’ site
- Effective preparation of the floor surface prior to applying the basecoat
- Communicate with management any issues that arise impeding installation
- Providing high quality installations
- Adhering to a code of conduct that produces a quality customer experience
- Use of operating system to enter notes and upload pre and post closeout pictures
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Competitive personality with drive to succeed
- Previous floor coating experience using epoxy or paint
- Ability to stand and bend for extended periods
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- The ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
- Ability to give and receive feedback in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent problem solving
