What are the responsibilities and job description for the MANUFACTURING TECH I position at LGM Pharma, LLC?
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Cleans walls, doors, roll up doors, base boards, and outside containers of purified water system.
- Cleans utensils before, during and after manufacturing process, according to the DOP.
- Cleans disassembled parts from mixers, shafts, propellers, homogenizers, hoses, valves, filtration pumps, filtration housing, positive displacement pumps, sine pumps, piping, etc.
- Cleans weigh scales, tables, and shelves.
- Cleans tanks with assistance from upper-level Manufacturing Technicians.
- Disassembles parts for stainless steel piping.
- Confirms and signs off on all “Performed By” sections on manufacturing DOPs for all items physically completed, and only with documented training.
- Tracks tools and returns tools into the proper area of the toolbox at the end of each day.
- Maintains manufacturing areas in a neat, clean, and organized at all times; sweeps, mops, and polish area floors; removes trash from trash cans, flattens boxes and places in bailer.
- Records cleaned tags for equipment and records on use log.
- Performs all duties according to written Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), (DOP’s), and in compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP’s).
- Partners with Quality Assurance on inspections and inquiries.
- Additional duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
- 0 years of related manufacturing experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Able to read and follow instructions in written, diagram, and schedule format.
- Able to read and follow standard operation procedures (GMP’s, SOP’s, DOP’s and Batch Records).
- Able to climb in and out of tanks using appropriate safety equipment and be confined to small spaces for an extended period-of- time.
- Able to learn pallet jack operation.
- Possess basic math skills and able to use a calculator to solve variable calculations.
- Able to lift 50 pounds occasionally and lift 25 pounds repeatedly throughout the day.
- Works and partners with others in a positive team environment.
