MEWP Product Manager/Engineer:
LGMG North America Inc is looking for an experienced MEWP Product Manager to include engineering knowledge and experience to spearhead the MEWP (mobile elevated work Platform) product management, recommending new design and customer requests. This position is unlike any regular PM position that it also includes writing product training material and providing training to internal and external customers. This position will report to Director of Engineering.
MEWP Product Manager duties and responsibilities:
A product manager is responsible for a product right from ideation and the market assessment phase to engineering, testing, and marketing. A product manager is typically responsible for:
- Using market research to get ideas for products that customers will want.
- Helping to oversee the design and manufacture and planning how to market and promote the product to the public.
- Defining product marketing communication objectives
- Comparing the company’s products to competitor’s products to assess competition in the market, bench marking.
- Providing management with analyses and reports and responding to questions and requests from management.
- Specifying and overseeing the research needed to determine the needs and desires of customers.
- Reviewing and adjusting inventory levels and product production schedules to maintain product availability.
- Performing customer interviews and market assessments (assessing market demand)
- Translating business requirements into technical specifications and vice versa
- Planning and designing product roadmap
- Prioritizing product features and communicating the reason behind this to the stakeholders
- Pricing and revenue modeling
- Defining and tracking success metrics
- Communicating effectively with all stakeholders
- Ensuring timely completion of the product without cost overruns
- Defining product strategy
- Converting business needs into technical specifications for engineers to understand.
- Creating pilot programs to run prototypes and assess outcomes.
- Taking evidence-based decisions
- Aligning product development with business goals
- Provide engineering assistance to internal and external customers.
- Developing training material for internal and external customers.
- Training internal and external customers.
- Corresponding with Global coworkers.

Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business
- Five or more years’ experience as a product manager preferably the in the MEWP and Telehandler industry.
- Working effectively with cross-functional teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Five or more years of experience as an engineer or technical lead.
- Experience in the MEWP and Telehandler industry.
- Ability to work under tight constraints.
- Team player, understands and knows the concept of being a good negotiator.
- Easy to work with and plays well with other team members. (Demonstrable leadership abilities)
- Demonstrable experience launching successful products.

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office/warehouse environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Physical Demands
This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bending or standing on a stool as necessary.
Salary Range: starting $85,000 based on experience

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., 40 hours per week.
