The HR Systems Analyst provides innovative thinking and problem-solving techniques to support the Human Resources team.
Responsibilities
- Provides daily production support by monitoring requests through service desk tickets.
- Research and resolve HR system problems, unexpected results or process flaws.
- Escalates and communicates issues through appropriate channels.
- Ensures thorough execution and documentation of key activities (including design, testing, cutover).
- Supports change management, ensuring end users are well prepared.
- Reviews HR system release notes to identify opportunities and impacts. Recommends solutions or alternate methods for improvement that align with business needs and strategic goals.
- Ensures compliance with all policies and practices through routine audits.
- Develops system and procedural expertise in one or more HCM related modules.
- Collaborate with leaders to development of reports and dashboards that meets their reporting needs
- Execute advanced analytics and reporting business intelligence (BI), and reporting that aids data-driven business decision making and process automation
- Participates regularly in professional activities and user forums to keep abreast of new developments in Human Resources and HRIS
- Assists in development of OTBI Reporting as well as loading of employment changes through HSDL.
- Bachelor's degree in Information systems or similar program and two years of experience with modern technology and application support through education or practical experience required.
- OR High School Diploma/GED and four years of experience with modern technology and application support through education or practical experience required.
- Experience supporting Oracle HCM Cloud application in one or more HR related subject areas preferred.
- Experience with fast formulas, sandbox personalization, security administration, OTBI, BI Publisher, HCM Extracts, approval workflow desirable, SQL knowledge preferred
- Demonstrates thorough understanding of information technology fundamental tools and concepts such as System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and applies that understanding to make independent practical contributions to work within the HRIS department.
- Completes on-going training on-the-job, through courses, self-study, certifications and/or advanced degrees to maintain and enhance technical and business capabilities.
- Highly driven and self-motivated to exceed expectations.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-based environment.
- Experience supporting HCM (Human Capital Management) software (Oracle HCM Cloud, Workday, Peoplesoft, Lawson, Oracle EBS or similar applications.
