About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Escrow and Title Assistant to join our branch office located in Lake Mary, FL.
This position supports both the Escrow and Title departments, providing exceptional customer service to clients and field offices.
The ideal candidate will assist in establishing new escrow accounts, managing various title functions, and ensuring the accurate and timely processing of escrow transactions.
Work Type: Contract with possibility of extension or conversion!
Work Hours: Standard Business Hours, (40 hours a week)
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service: Provide outstanding customer service to clients and field escrow offices.
Escrow Account Management: Assist in the establishment of new escrow accounts and handle funds for the closing process.
Document Development: Develop escrow documents in compliance with internal and external policies and regulations.
Administrative Duties: Perform administrative and clerical tasks to support the escrow process, including maintaining online communication tools.
Order Processing: Open escrow and title orders, set up files, and prepare necessary documents.
Communication: Regularly communicate with customers and vendors, providing status updates.
Pre-Close and Post-Close Maintenance: Handle pre-close maintenance and post-close follow-up on escrow and title issues, including title policy issues.
Lender Interface: Interface with lenders to facilitate document delivery, execution, and funding of loans.
Escrow Transactions: Open and process escrow transactions for the branch, ensuring compliance with escrow instructions, policies, procedures, and regulations.
Title Duties: Perform various title-related tasks, including title report review, procurement of title, document abstracting, and facilitating the recording of legal documents.
File and Record Maintenance: Use research to create and maintain files, records, and reports.
Audit and Accuracy: Audit calculations and legal documents for accuracy.
Preliminary Title Reports: Create and process preliminary title reports through the production center.
Business Development: Participate in business development activities to maintain existing clients and acquire new clients.
Professional Communication: Communicate professionally with all customers.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience directly assisting with escrow and title transactions, with some real estate-related knowledge and experience.
Customer Service: Strong customer service orientation.
Detail Orientation: High level of attention to detail.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication and problem-solving skills.
Organizational Skills: Strong organizational abilities.
Skills:
Customer Service: Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service and maintain good rapport with clients.
Documentation: Proficiency in developing and managing escrow and title documents.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of clear and professional interactions.

Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with escrow and title software systems and online communication tools.
