LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a reputable organization in the food manufacturing industry to find an experienced Accounting Manager to join their fast-growing team. The successful candidate will lead a team of 4-5 employees and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in cost and inventory accounting.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, inventory/costing and general ledger.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis
- Analyze workflows, procedures, and operational data
- Prepare and review budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections
- Monitor and manage cash flow
- Oversee tax compliance
- Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- General Ledger Analysis
- Journal Entry bookings
- Manage the external audit process
- Develop and implement internal controls
Requirements:
- Experience in Produce, Food, Manufacturing and/or Wholesale industries required
- 2 years in a managerial accounting role
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Advanced skill level with Excel
- Ability to manage multiple projects
Salary : $120,000 - $125,000
