Accounting Manager

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a reputable organization in the food manufacturing industry to find an experienced Accounting Manager to join their fast-growing team. The successful candidate will lead a team of 4-5 employees and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in cost and inventory accounting.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, inventory/costing and general ledger.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis
• Analyze workflows, procedures, and operational data
• Prepare and review budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections
• Monitor and manage cash flow
• Oversee tax compliance
• Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• General Ledger Analysis
• Journal Entry bookings
• Manage the external audit process
• Develop and implement internal controls

Requirements:

• Experience in Produce, Food, Manufacturing and/or Wholesale industries required
• 2 years in a managerial accounting role
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Advanced skill level with Excel
• Ability to manage multiple projects
