Chief Engineer
Location: Charlotte, NC
Pay: $86k-$110k/yearly
Position Overview: We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Chief Engineer to join our client's team. As a Chief Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of engineering operations within the organization. This includes leading a team of engineers, implementing strategic initiatives, and ensuring the efficient operation of all mechanical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of engineers, technicians, and maintenance staff.
- Develop and implement engineering strategies to optimize building performance and efficiency.
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and building codes.
- Collaborate with other departments to support ongoing projects and initiatives.
- Manage budgets, resources, and vendor relationships effectively.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in a leadership role within the engineering or facilities management field.
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Professional Engineer license) are a plus.
