We are looking for a meticulous and experienced Labor Compliance Administrator to ensure our projects adhere to labor laws and union regulations.
Profile:
As a Labor Compliance Administrator, you will work closely with certified payroll specialists and ensure compliance with labor regulations for union workers. Your expertise in prevailing wages, construction union operations, and labor compliance documentation will be crucial to our success.
Key Responsibilities:
Labor Compliance Management:
- Handle labor compliance documents and correspondence.
- Ensure adherence to prevailing wage laws and regulations.
- Communicate effectively with union representatives to address compliance issues.
Payroll Processing:
- Oversee payroll processes to ensure compliance with labor ratios and regulations.
- Manage employee signatures and document uploads related to payroll.
- Utilize the DIR website for document uploads and compliance reporting.
System Management:
- Work with the Points North system for automated uploads to the DIR.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure timely submissions.
Technical Proficiency:
- Leverage software tools such as Points North, Microsoft Office Suite, and Sage 100.
- Ensure data integrity and compliance through effective use of these systems.
Qualifications:
Experience:
- 2 to 3 years of experience in labor compliance within the construction industry.
- Proven experience with union labor operations and prevailing wage requirements.
Skills:
- Proficiency in Points North preferred.
- Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with Sage 100 preferred.
Industry Knowledge:
- Solid understanding of construction industry labor compliance is required.
Education:
- No degree required.
