LHH is seeking a Distribution Center Manager for a Direct Hire, Permanent Placement position with a client located in Indianapolis, IN. In this role, you will manage all inbound and outbound operations at your facility and oversee a team of supervisors and approximately 75 hourly employees. The compensation ranges between $85,000-95,000 and includes a variety of medical insurance plans, generous PTO, and a 401K with a company match.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement effective strategies to execute distribution operations for inbound and outbound shipments as well as oversee inventory control
- Manage client demands in a fast-paced distribution center environment
- Identify and lead process improvement projects
- Consistently achieve productivity, quality, delivery, and budgetary targets
- Oversee a value-added warehousing and distribution environment
- Evaluate current processes and recommend improvements
- Coordinate with department leaders across the organization to ensure consistent effective communication and alignment of objectives
- Develop, monitor, and guide the development of all new-hires through our hands-on training program and ongoing professional development initiatives
- Effectively communicate with customers, remain complaint with their standards, and make preparations for site visits
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management and/or related field is required
- A minimum of 5 years of experience within a warehousing and/or distribution environment with onsite storage is required (not trucking or brokerage)
- A minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in previous warehouse management/supervisory roles is required
- Must have experience with ERP and WMS systems
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing/Six Sigma is preferred
- Ability to speak or understand the Spanish language is preferred
- Must be willing to learn, self-motivated, and a positive leader
